Inspired by the Surrealist game Exquisite Corpse, this series merges multiple pre-existing works into a single, eclectic image. The game, which gained popularity in the 1920s, was known for producing collaborative and nonsensical compositions. This project builds on that concept, blending various styles and techniques to create complex and bizarre visual combinations.

Challenge
The challenge was to honor the spirit of the Exquisite Corpse game while developing a modern visual interpretation. Each image had to maintain the unpredictability of the original concept while seamlessly combining different styles into cohesive, eye-catching compositions.
Approach
I approached the project by selecting various pre-existing works from the Rijksstudio online collection, and blending them using a range of techniques to create new, bizarre compositions. Each design aimed to retain the chaotic and collaborative nature of the original Exquisite Corpse while presenting a visually cohesive and striking final product.
Result
A series of images that embodied the chaotic and surreal nature of the game, with each piece offering a visually engaging and thought-provoking combination of styles, techniques, and artistic elements.
